How much does it actually cost?+
No fixed cost: no sign-up fee, no subscription, no publishing fee. You are only charged on an order that has actually been paid. As long as you don't sell, the platform costs you nothing — the risk stays on our side.
What if a buyer asks for a refund?+
You trigger the refund yourself from your dashboard. BarMaker.ch's commission remains due (the matchmaking work was performed, per art. 412 CO on brokerage). This protects the buyer without putting you at a disadvantage.
Am I competing with my own website?+
No. BarMaker.ch opens an additional channel to an international professional clientele you wouldn't have reached alone, without touching your direct channels.
When do I get paid?+
Stripe Connect processes your share of the payment. Fund availability and payout times depend on your account and the applicable Stripe terms; no same-day bank payout is guaranteed.
Who handles after-sales service and delivery?+
You do. That's the principle of direct matchmaking: you ship, you invoice, you manage the customer relationship. BarMaker.ch stays out of the operational flow — so you keep the quality of service you know how to deliver.
Can I leave the platform at any time?+
Yes, with no notice and no fees. Only the non-circumvention clause (24 months) remains on buyers met via BarMaker.ch — the standard Swiss equivalent of a brokerage contract.
Are my contact details publicly visible?+
No. Your house name, country, story and products are visible. Your email, phone, website and precise address stay confidential. All communication goes through BarMaker.ch while the relationship is new.
How many manufacturers do you already have?+
